Alek is a Dutch photographer and filmmaker based in Amsterdam.

His work is known for his focus on light and direction of people, which often results in images with a cinematic storytelling.

As a devoted and passionate photographer he’s always looking for ways to push the envelope and work out great challenges. He loves big sets and always finds creative solutions to honor the clients’ perspective.

Alek works with a wide range of clients, both commercial and editorial. He has collaborated with many international ad-agencies, fashion clients and magazines. He was a member of the jury of Hollands Next Topmodel in 2016
